PURPOSE: A clean elevator car and a method for controlling airflow of a boarding room thereof are provided to reduce noise and to stably purify dust because air is passed throughout entire filter area by uniform wind pressure. CONSTITUTION: A clean elevator car comprises a boarding room(11), a purification part(20), an intake and exhaust opening, a damper unit, and a control part. The boarding room has a car door(12) and a vertical air circulating passage(22) in which air is circulated through an intake opening(21). The purification part comprises a horizontal air guiding passage(23), which is communicated with the vertical air circulating passage, and a wind pressure process room. The intake and exhaust opening is arranged in a boundary position of the vertical air circulating passage and the horizontal air guiding passage. The damper unit selectively opens and closes the intake and exhaust opening. The control part controls the wind pressure generating unit and the damper unit.
