PURPOSE: A security service providing method and apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to rapidly handle a dangerous situation by automatically transmitting information related to the dangerous situation to pre-established contact numbers. CONSTITUTION: A security service providing apparatus receives inputted security service established information(S210). The security service establishment information includes time information, input type information, contact address information, and notification content information. The security service providing apparatus determines an input signal corresponding to the input type information(S230, S240). In case the input signal is not detected, the security service providing apparatus transmits the notification information to the address information(S250).
