PURPOSE: A horizontal-operation type bus bar bending device with an improved mold supporting structure is provided to directly supply materials and draw out completed products through the open top of fixed and movable molds. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal-operation type bus bar bending device with an improved mold supporting structure comprises a base member(4), a hydraulic cylinder(7), a movable mold(9), a fixed mold(13), and a reinforcing support block(18). The movable mold is installed on the leading end of a piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder and linearly reciprocates back and forth along the top surface of the base member. The movable mold has a bending groove(11) on the leading end thereof. The fixed mold is inserted into the bending groove when the movable mold approaches, thereby bending a bus bar member. The reinforcing support block is installed on the base member of a work table at the rear side of the fixed mold in order to protect and support the fixed mold against an impact load while bending the bus bar material.
