PURPOSE: A music reproducing device using a score image and a method thereof are provided to enable a guitar beginner to easily understand the key and beat of a music by the score image. CONSTITUTION: An extraction unit(220) analyzes a score image. A sign recognizing unit(230) recognizes meanings of signs. A performance information generating unit(250) generates performance information about a score by locations of extracted score lines or the meanings of signs. A reproducing unit(260) reproduces the score to make a music.
