PURPOSE: A method for preventing a robot from being deviated from a route is provided to improve the movement accuracy of a robot to a real destination spot. CONSTITUTION: A method for preventing a robot from being deviated from a route is as follows. An actual movement value from a starting point to a present position of a robot and an expected value from the starting point to the present position of the robot are calculated(210). It is determined whether the robot is deviated from a route by comparing the absolute value of the difference between the actual movement value and the expected value of the robot with a pre-set allowable error(220,230).
