PURPOSE: A brake pedal assembly for a vehicle is provided to adjust the full stroke of the brake pedal by adjusting the screw nut screwed with the screw bolt in the switch, and screwing the stop lamp switch on the rotation route of the pedal arm of the brake pedal. CONSTITUTION: A brake pedal assembly for a vehicle comprises a brake pedal(11), a push rod, a booster(12), a master cylinder(14), and a stop lamp switch(23). The brake pedal is installed in the mounting bracket(15) to be rotated around the hinge shaft(18). The push rod is connected to the top of brake pedal and transfers the action of driver. The booster receives the action of driver and amplifies the pressure of action by using the vacuum pressure. The master cylinder changes the amplified pressure to oil pressure and brakes through the oil pressure. The stop lamp switch is installed in one side of the mounting bracket and interlocks with the brake pedal. |
