PURPOSE: A filter utilization method for a proportional-integral-derivative(PID) controller and an algorithm used in the same are provided to optimize control performance by performing a PID tuning process. CONSTITUTION: A filter is applied before inputting a control signal to a proportional-integral-derivative(PID) controller. A strong control process is performed when a strong disturbance is generated. A weak control process of a proper level is performed near a set value. The performance of the PID controller is optimized.
