PNEUMATIC CYLINDER

PURPOSE: A pneumatic cylinder is provided to prevent flow noise of a submarine by preventing air from escaping to peripheral water as closed a piston rod lead-through. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic cylinder comprises a cylinder(2) and a piston(4). The piston is movably guided inside the cylinder. The cylinder is divided into first and second cylinder chambers(6,8). A piston rod(12) is arranged inside the cylinder. The first cylinder chamber can be collided by compacted gas. The second cylinder chamber is sealed from the outside of the cylinder. The first and second cylinder chamber are connected each other.
