PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to efficiently wavelength-convert light emitted from a light emitting chip by arranging a seat member on the light emitting chip. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting chip(111) emits light. The light emitting chip includes a first conductive semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second conductive semiconductor layer. A seat member(200) wavelength-converts a part of emitted light. The seat member includes a first layer(211) and a second level(212) alternatively laminated along an upper side of the light emitting chip. At least one side of an upper side and a lower side of the seat member includes an uneven shape. |
