The device (3) has an annular base positioned against a wall (P) with respect to an opening to be traversed by a body (21) of a push button (2). A ring is displaced in translation with respect to the base under the action of a control head (20). A sidewall (32) is made of deformable material, and connects the base to the ring. The side wall is deformed during translation of the ring. The base and the ring comprise an internal wall defining an axial opening (33) traversed by the push button. A side external wall is formed by a sidewall. An independent claim is also included for a control assembly including a push button.
