PURPOSE: A hydraulic power steering apparatus is provided to increase and decrease steering transmission according to the fluid pressure of the working fluid by improving the structure of a sealing part of a piston sliding within a working cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic power steering apparatus comprises a piston and an elastic body. The piston(215) is coupled with a rack bar(220) and slides inside a working cylinder(140). The elastic body(300) is mounted on the outer circumference of the piston. The elastic body comprises a wing portion(310) extended in the radial direction or the axis direction of the piston according to the fluid pressure of the working fluid. A groove(218) is formed on the outer circumference of the piston and the elastic body is mounted on the groove.
