An up/down movement compensation member of a slide terminal is provided to install up/down movement preventing bodies with an elastic member between a slide cover unit and a body unit of the terminal so that up/down movement differences can be automatically compensated, thus a sense of slide operation is stably maintained. Up/down movement preventing bodies(24) are assembled to rise on a surface where a slider cover unit faces a body unit of a terminal. An elastic member(26) is installed on an inner side of the up/down movement preventing bodies(24) so as to compensate up/down movements with an elastic force. The up/down movement preventing bodies(24) consist of a plate body(32) suspended on an insertion end of an insertion part, and an up/down supporting body(34) disposed on one side of the plate body(32) in certain length and with a sectional area.
