PURPOSE: An ultrasonic wave detecting device for checking whether a power facility of an overhead distribution wire is defective is provided to effectively detect whether a power facility is defective without a stepping utility pole. CONSTITUTION: A main body includes a conic signal collecting pipe and an ultrasonic wave sensor. The signal collecting pipe includes an inclined inner side. An ultrasonic sensor is installed on the bottom of the signal collecting pipe. An aiming device(150) is installed in the main body to aim and check an ultrasonic signal collecting area.
