PURPOSE: A water purifier with an automatic cleaning unit and a method for cleaning the water purifier using the same are provided to maximally expand the cycle of a cleaning operation. CONSTITUTION: A filtering part(110) includes a plurality of filters purifying feed water by being in connection with a feed water source. A purified water bath(120) stores purified water generated from the filtering part. A sterilizing water generator generates sterilizing water and supplies sterilizing water to at least part of the filters. A sterilizing water supplying unit supplies the sterilizing water from the sterilizing water generator to the purified water bath.
