PURPOSE: A wave dissipating block for a revetment and a wave dissipating block assembly therewith are provided to prevent coastal flooding by easily installing the wave dissipating block and the wave dissipating block assembly in a river or coast. CONSTITUTION: A wave dissipating block(20) for a revetment comprises a plane-type base plate(21) and a plane-type upper plate(23). The base plate has a front part(21a) and multiple vertical holes(21b). A wave dissipating slot(23c) is formed between the upper and base plates. The upper plate is formed on the top of the base plate in a stair shape and has a vertical guide slot(25) communicating with the wave dissipating slot. |
