PURPOSE: An apparatus for covering a belt conveyor is provided to reduce environmental pollution by preventing raw material loaded on a belt conveyor from scattering. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for covering a belt conveyor comprises a pair of covers(10,11) and elastic wires(12,13). The lower end of covers is respectively installed in both left and right sides of a base frame(212) of a belt conveyor(200) in longitudinal direction. The upper end of the covers is extended above a belt(210) to adhere each other. The elastic wires are installed in each cover at predetermined intervals along longitudinal direction. The elastic wires are elastically bent to apply return force while opening a gap between covers. A pair of adhering members(14,15) is consecutively formed in the upper end of each cover along the longitudinal direction.
