LITHIUM ION CAPACITOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion capacitor with a higher capacitance characteristic by including graphite in a positive electrode active material, and a manufacturing method for the same.

SOLUTION: A lithium ion capacitor comprises: a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material; and an electrolyte interposed therebetween. The positive electrode active material includes graphite and the interlayer distance is 0.35-0.38 nm. By doping with lithium ion in advance, the lithium ion contrast potential is set to 2.1 V or less.
