MENU DISPLAY DEVICE, MENU DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to quickly understand that a menu item at the edge of a menu is displayed on the screen.

SOLUTION: A menu display device includes: means for displaying, on a screen, a prescribed range in a menu with plural menu items arranged; means for moving the prescribed range according to a prescribed operation by a user; means for determining whether the menu item at the edge of the menu is displayed at a prescribed position of the screen; and means for changing a space between the menu items being displayed on the screen according to the prescribed operation by the user if the menu item at the edge is displayed at the prescribed position of the screen.
