<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture capable of improving lamp light flux through restraint of temperature rise at the coldest point of a single-base fluorescent lamp excellently in respect of appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting fixture 10 is provided with a fixture body 11 with an underside open, and a single-base fluorescent lamp 12 mounted on the fixture body 11.
