摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light-emitting device which minimizes variation in color tone by arranging a phosphor layer only in an intended portion, has improved durability by arranging a material of high light reflectivity near the light emitting element, and also has a high light extraction efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes a substrate insulating part including a recess on its surface, and a substrate conductive part a part of which is embedded in the substrate insulating part and exposed on the bottom surface of the recess and a rear surface. The method of manufacturing the light emitting device includes the steps of: placing a semiconductor light emitting element on the upper surface of a protrusion on the substrate including the protrusion at the center of the recess; electrically connecting the semiconductor light emitting element to the substrate conductive part of said substrate; applying a voltage to the substrate conductive part so that phosphor particles stick to the semiconductor light emitting element and the surface of the substrate conductive part; and filling the recess surrounding the protruding part with a reflective material so as to cover the phosphor particles sticking to the surface of the substrate conductive part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
