摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for exhaust gas purification that can give high NOx purification performance even after endurance under A/F fluctuation condition. <P>SOLUTION: In the catalyst for exhaust gas purification, a former-stage catalyst 3 at a position on the upstream side of the exhaust gas flowing direction and a latter-stage catalyst 6 at a position on the downstream side are each arranged on a substrate 8. An OSC material 10 is contained in both the former-stage and the latter-stage catalyst and An OSC material 9 (hereafter abbreviated as OSC material (N)) not carrying a noble metal is contained in the former-stage catalyst and the latter-stage catalyst.
