<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for crystallizing nafamostat mesilate, which suppresses nafamostat mesilate from becoming a gel-like lump in a solution and obtains high-purity nafamostat mesilate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for crystallizing nafamostat mesilate includes having a process for adding acetone to nafamostat mesilate dissolved in a mixed liquid of an aqueous solvent and water in the volume ratio of the aqueous solvent: water of 9:1-1:9 in a temperature range of -10 to 45°C.
