<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-mold coating molding method which effectively prevents paint leakage by using a mold having a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The in-mold coating molding method is configured to use a mold for in-mold coating molding in which a product cavity and an auxiliary cavity, arranged adjacently to a mold parting face of the product cavity so as to surround around the product cavity, are formed between a fixed mold and a movable mold. A resin is replenished/filled into the auxiliary cavity, thereby forming a seal part for preventing paint leakage. It is configured to effectively prevent paint leakage by utilizing an auxiliary cavity having a simple structure. If the mold parting face is formed in a direction extending in a direction approximately orthogonal to the mold opening/closing direction, it facilitates manufacturing of the auxiliary cavity. If the mold parting face is formed as a fitting part extending in the mold opening/closing direction, it allows formation of a very strong seal part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
