摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quantitatively determining a hypochlorite salt and a hypobromite salt individually easily and accurately for an aqueous solution containing simultaneously a hypochlorite salt and a hypobromite salt. <P>SOLUTION: A method for quantitatively determining a hypochlorite salt and a hypobromite salt individually comprises: a step of determining the absorbance A at the maximum absorption wavelength of a hypochlorite salt, the absorbance B at the maximum absorption wavelength of a hypobromite salt and the absorbance C at the isosbestic point by measuring ultraviolet absorption spectra of an aqueous solution containing simultaneously a hypochlorite salt and a hypobromite salt and calculating the absorbance ratio X (absorbance A/absorbance C) of the absorbance A to the absorbance C and the absorbance ratio Y (absorbance B/absorbance C) of the absorbance B to the absorbance C; and a step of determining the concentration of the hypochlorite salt in the aqueous solution based on a calibration curve prepared preliminarily from the absorbance ratio X and determining the concentration of the hypobromite salt in the aqueous solution based on a calibration curve prepared preliminarily from the absorbance ratio Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
