<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide an information providing device that can shorten a driver's wait time. In the present invention an information providing device (1) comprises an automobile side terminal (3) provided to an automobile (M), a communication center device (2) that searches for a standard route (R) from the current position of the automobile (M) to a destination by communicating with the automobile side terminal (3), an information providing unit (13) that provides information on the standard route (R) to the driver of the automobile (M). The communication center device (2) has a travel direction change point determination unit (7) that determines a travel direction change point (P) at which the travel direction of the automobile (M) will change from the standard route (R) and a deviation route searching unit (8) that on the basis of the travel direction change point (P) searches for a deviation route that assumes the automobile (M) deviated from the standard route (R). If the automobile (M) advances on the deviation route, the information providing unit (13) provides information on the deviation route to the driver.</p> |
