摘要 <p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing acrylic acid by gas-phase catalytic oxidation of acrolein, whereby the issue of degradation of a catalyst on a gas input port side earlier than a catalyst on a gas output side is resolved and whereby high-yield production of acrylic acid is possible even if the catalysts are capable of being used stably over a long period. Provided is a method for producing acrylic acid whereby, in a method for producing acrylic acid by gas-phase catalytic oxidation of acrolein, a reaction tube is separated into two or more catalyst layers, and catalysts are loaded from the raw gas input side of the reaction tube to the output side in order from the most highly active catalyst, and reacted. A method for adjusting catalyst activity is characterized by changing the type of raw material compound so as to have the same elemental composition for catalytic activity, and obtaining a composite metal oxide with a different activity, in a step for combining a molybdenum-containing compound, a vanadium-containing compound, a copper-containing compound, and an antimony-containing compound with water and drying and sintering same.</p>
