The physical inspection method used is Raman spectroscopy; the means of protection - label - is the article itself, packaging or an area on the article or its packaging, on which chemical substances, whose chemical composition varies over time, are deposited or incorporated. During inspection, Raman spectra and fluorescence spectra of molecules of the chemical substances are picked up when said spectra are excited in the label by the monochromatic source of a Raman spectrometer.
