<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight module having a novel structure and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the backlight module in which light from a light emitting means received at a light incident surface of a light guide means having the light incident surface and a light emitting surface is guided so as to be dispersed into planar light in an installation frame and then is emitted to the outside of the installation frame from the light emitting surface, the installation frame is composed of an outer frame body which is made of a polyester material and is of a dish shape in which a fence part is provided upright on a circumferential edge of a bottom part of the flat dish and an inner face of the bottom part is made to face the reflection surface of the light guide means; and a reflection sheet which is made of the polyester material and moreover is thermocompression-bonded to the outer frame body to cover at least the inner surface of the bottom part of the outer frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
