PRINTER MANUFACTURING METHOD, PRINTER ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly correct a conveyance amount.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a printer for conveying a medium in a predetermined direction and forming an image includes: a step of placing plural scales sandwiching a pattern formed on the medium in an intersection direction intersecting with the predetermined direction and having graduations aligned in the predetermined direction; a step of obtaining a position of the pattern in the predetermined direction and graduations of the plural scales; a step of calculating a virtual graduation at the position with the pattern placed on the basis of the graduations of the plural scales; a step of calculating a correction value of a conveyance amount of the medium in the printer having formed the pattern on the basis of the virtual graduation and the pattern position; and a step of storing the correction value in a storage of the printer.
