<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress uncomfortable feeling until a set vehicle speed is lowered during cruise traveling and the set vehicle speed is established. <P>SOLUTION: When a driver operates a steering switch 28 in a state that an HEV mode is maintained, and then a coast operation is performed ("Yes" in the determination of S13), a coast flag is set to Fc=1 (S18), and a prohibition flag is set to F<SB POS="POST">NG</SB>=1 (S19). Until a set vehicle speed Vs is established, cruise request torque Tc is inverted to a negative value and is made smaller than a stop determination threshold T<SB POS="POST">OFF</SB>, and an engine stop request is issued ("No" in the determination of S30), however, since the prohibition flag has been set to F<SB POS="POST">NG</SB>=1 already ("NO" in the determination of S25), an engine 1 is maintained in an on-state (28). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
