<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum breaking valve which can change vacuum pressure when opening a valve, and is capable of forcibly closing the valve or forcibly opening the valve. <P>SOLUTION: An inlet 6 connected to a fluid piping system, a valve chamber 3, and an open air port 4 opened to air are formed with a valve casing consisting of a body 1 and a lid member 2, an annular valve seat 5 is provided between the open air port 4 and the valve chamber 3, a disc-like valve element 7 to open and close the annular valve seat 5 is arranged in the valve chamber 3. An operation rod 9 is arranged so as to be operable to move forward and backward penetrating airtightly the lid member 2, and a coil spring 8 energizing the valve element 7 to the annular valve seat 5 is arranged between the valve element 7 and the operation rod 9. By providing flanges 13, 14 between the inner end of the operating rod 9 and the disc-like valve element 7, the disc-like valve element 7 is seated on the annular valve seat 5 for forcibly closing the valve according to the position of the operation rod 9, or the disc-like valve element 7 is released from the annular valve seat 5 for forcibly opening the valve, or the operating rod 9 and the disc-like valve element 7 are connected so that any releasing/seating of the disc-like valve element 7 from/on the annular valve seat 5 is not disturbed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
