<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate assessment of fish quality without making any puncture in fish. <P>SOLUTION: Current electrodes 3a, 3d to apply an AC current to a fish 34 and voltage electrodes 3b, 3c to detect voltage are pressed against a surface of the fish 34, with horizontal oscillation. Consequently, a slimy dirty layer 36 covering the surface 34a of the fish 34 is removed while stable contact is secured by the press contact of the respective electrodes 3a through 3d with the surface 34a of the fish 34, and the impedance is measured by applying an AC current to the fish 34 to calculate the fat content of the fish 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
