<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus that is excellent in conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion apparatus 100 includes a first switch Q1 for connecting an inductor L1 and a capacitor C1 in series to an AC power supply 101, a second switch Q2 for connecting a smoothing capacitor C2 in series to both ends of the switch Q1, an input voltage detection section 105, a circuit current detection section 106, an output voltage detection section 107, an oscillator 108, and a controller 110. The controller 110 determines a peak value of circuit current of each pulse period from an input voltage and a corrected output voltage value resulting from the subtraction of a predetermined reference voltage from an output voltage. The controller 110 outputs a pulse signal that turns on in synchronism with a clock signal, remains on until the circuit current reaches the peak value, turns off when it reaches the peak value and later turns on again in synchronism with the next clock signal, to the first switch Q1 when the polarity of the input voltage is positive and to the second switch Q2 when it is negative. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
