PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion type self-adhesive for optical use formable of a self-adhesive layer for optical use that decreases depolarization properties even when applied to a polarizing plate etc., having a high polarization degree for high contrast.

SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion type self-adhesive for optical use comprises an aqueous dispersion containing an aqueous dispersion type base polymer (A), and a film-forming auxiliary agent (B) and/or a plasticizer (C), wherein the ratio of the film-forming auxiliary agent (B) and/or the plasticizer (C) is 0.1-15 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the aqueous dispersion type self-adhesive for optical use.
