<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress ground fault between a coil of a rotary electric machine and a grounding structure. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a rotary electric machine has a cylindrical iron core provided so as to fit with a center axis of a stator, a coil housed in a slot of the iron core, a shield plate provided between the iron core and the coil and blocking leakage flux from the iron core, a support material disposed between the coil and the shield plate for holding the coil and having at least one protrusion, and a fixing material fixing the support material to the shield plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
