<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that increases torque. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 40 has an annular portion 42 that is formed into an annular shape, and a plurality of salient poles 43 that extend radially inward from the annular portion 42. A rotor 31 is provided radially inside the salient poles 43 of the stator 40 so as to be rotatable relative to the stator 40. Bobbins 50 each attached to the salient poles 43 are formed of a magnetic material and extend to respective radially inner ends of the salient poles 43. Windings 56 each wound on the bobbins 50 produce magnetic fields when energized. Since the bobbins 50 formed of the magnetic material extend to the respective radially inner ends of the salient poles 43, magnetic paths formed by the bobbins 50 and the salient poles 43 have large cross-sectional areas. Thus, magnetic fluxes flowing from the stator 40 and the bobbins 50 to the rotor 31 are strengthened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
