<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of reducing a malfunction in the zoom control of the imaging apparatus when a distance between a photographer and the imaging apparatus becomes longer. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a first camera arranged on a subject side and changing a zoom magnification; a second camera arranged on a photographer side; and control means for controlling the zoom magnification of the first camera on the basis of information on the photographer, which is imaged by the second camera. The control means changes the zoom magnification of the first camera when the size of a face of the photographer, which is imaged by the second camera, is changed within a first range, and does not change the zoom magnification of the first camera when the size of the face of the photographer, which is imaged by the second camera, is changed within a second range where a size smaller than the minimum size indicated by the first range is defined as the maximum size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
