A solar thermal system (Fig.18) of which the solar collector (12) and the non- cylindrical heat transfer medium tank (3) are encapsulated in a single construction of parallelepiped shape and are connected to each other hydraulically (8, 9). The solar collector (12) disposes of two outlets (16 & 17) and the non cylindrical tank (3) of the heat transfer medium of two outlets (18 & 19) as well. Within the non cylindrical tank (3) of heat transfer medium there is static liquid which is only once filled during its installation, as well as the domestic hot water tank (4) which in fact is a heat exchanger with two outlets, of which outlet (20) is connected to the fresh water supply point and outlet (21) to the domestic hot water supply point. A photovoltaic generator (13) which is electrically connected (10) to the electric pump (6) is placed on the solar collector (12) and at a point which is not shaded. The generator (13), when there is no adequate sunlight, does not produce electric current and thus the pump (6) immediately stops its operation avoiding the aimless recirculation of the heat transfer medium. |
