The system has a magnetic system that generates magnetic field (16) in field axis (18)to exert an magnetic force on a magnetic element so that the magnetic element is moved and rotated in an axial direction (28) about a rotation axis (6) in rotation direction (26) to insert into a patient. A position detection system detects the relative position (R) of the magnetic element from the rotation axis and field axis. An aligning control unit controls the relative position of the magnetic element such that the field axis is parallel to the rotational axis.
