摘要 The invention relates to measurement technique and can be used in gas industry for registration of gas consumption, and for calibration and verification of gas meters. A double-range gas meter consists of a sensor element, metering block and indicator. The device is characterized by additional valve-switch and in that the sensor element consists of two autonomous units, for maximum and minimum gas consumption, respectively. Minimum sensor unit includes light source, photoelectric transducer and reservoir with liquid to which a siphon is immersed, through this one gas is supplied, and the bubbles at gas supply periodically scatter light flux from the light source to photoelectric transducer. The maximum sensor unit includes light source, photoelectric transducer and a meter run in channel, this is brought to rotary motion by gas flow. On one or more blades of the meter run a mirror is installed, this at rotation periodically reflects light flux from the source to photoelectric transducer. The photoelectric transducers of both units are connected to metering block. The switching valve, according to the value of gas flow at previous instant, directs all gas flow either through minimum, or through maximum sensor units and switches, respectively, the algorithms of calculation of flow rate at metering block. The technical result is in measuring range extension and increase of accuracy.
