BACKLIGHT UNIT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device with the same are provided to adjust beads of a diffusion unit of an upper diffusion sheet, thereby increasing concealment power and luminance. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate(130) guides light of a light source(140). An optical member(150) is located on the light guide plate. The optical member comprises a lower diffusion sheet(151), a prism sheet(154), and an upper diffusion sheet(156). The prism sheet is located on the lower diffusion sheet. The upper diffusion sheet is located on the prism sheet. The upper diffusion sheet includes a first bead and a second bead which have different diameters.
