摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel diameter measurement device capable of measuring the accurate diameter of a blood vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The blood vessel diameter measurement device includes a control circuit for calculating the outside diameter and inside diameter of a blood vessel on the basis of the arrival time from the time when ultrasonic waves are transmitted from three ultrasonic arrays 11 until the time when they are reflected by the blood vessel and reach the ultrasonic arrays 11. The control circuit includes: a signal delay circuit for controlling a transmission angle of ultrasonic waves so that the ultrasonic waves pass through the center of the blood vessel; a reception measurement unit for measuring the first arrival time of a first reflected wave, which is reflected by a blood vessel and is first to arrive at the ultrasonic arrays 11, and a second arrival time of a second reflected wave which arrives at the ultrasonic arrays 11 after a predetermined time elapses from the first arrival time; an outside diameter computation unit for computing an outside diameter R of the blood vessel based on the first arrival time of three first reflected waves; and an inside diameter computation unit for computing an inside diameter r of the blood vessel based on the second arrival time of three second reflected waves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
