<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type image display device capable of reducing man-hours and holding image display elements suppressing the pixel shift when adhesively fixing the image display elements. <P>SOLUTION: A projection type image display device comprises: a first holding member 71 for holding an image forming element 70; a second holding member 72 attached to composition means 73 for composing emission light from the image forming element; and a plurality of adhesive fixing member 74 each of which has adhesive surfaces for adhering the first and the second holding members thereto, in a state where the first and the second holding members are closely attached to each of the adhesive surfaces, and a plurality of positioning fixation parts 74c, 74d for fixing the positions of the first and the second holding members. An engaging part by the positioning fixation part 74c or 74d is constituted so as to press at least one of the first and second holding members, and to be sandwiched between the first and the second holding members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
