<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for being capable of stably controlling the reaction rate and selectivity of each of batches in producing a polychloropropane by a system for performing the batch reactions repeatedly. <P>SOLUTION: The continuous batch reaction method performs each batch reaction as follows. An addition reaction is performed by adding carbon tetrachloride to ethylene, etc., in a liquid phase reaction system to obtain the polychloropropane by the batch system in the presence of a liquid phase and a gas phase. Raw materials for the next batch reaction are fed to a reaction vessel after the discharge of reaction mixture liquid, and the addition reactions as the batch method are repeatedly performed in the batch system, in the second batch and subsequent batches. Therein, after the completion of the reaction, when raw materials for the next batch reaction is charged in the reaction vessel after the reaction mixture liquid is discharged, carbon tetrachloride is first charged in the reaction vessel; and thereafter ethylene or the like is fed in and pressurizes the gas phase, and then, discharged to reduce the gas phase pressure, thus performing once or more times the pressurization/depressurization operation; and thereafter, ethylene or the like is fed in and pressurizes the gas phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
