<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which has excellent luminous efficiency, excellent durability, and a low driving voltage with small voltage increase over time. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element has, on a substrate, a pair of electrodes consisting of an anode and a cathode, and one or more organic layers including a light-emitting layer between the electrodes.
