<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for an internal combustion engine that can effectively suppress condensation water from flowing into a specific individual cylinder introductory hole of an EGR gas distribution pipe, and can securely prevent the occurrence of accidental fire or the like in a specific cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: The intake device for the internal combustion engine includes an intake manihold 35 where a plurality of intake branch pipes 36a-36d and a surge tank 37 are integrally configured. The intake device includes a main path 61 extending in a D direction where the plurality of intake branch pipes 36a-36d are each spaced, and the EGR gas distribution branch pipe 60 where the plurality of individual cylinder introductory holes 62a-62d making the path communicate with a plurality of intake ports via the intake branch pipes 36a-36d are formed. Protrusions 65, 66 protruding upward from an inner bottom wall surface 63b located more downward in a perpendicular direction of the main path 61 on a transverse surface of the EGR gas branch pipe 60 are provided near the specific individual cylinder introductory hole 62a located at a specific position in an extending direction of at least the main path 61 out of the plurality of individual cylinder introductory holes 62a-62d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
