<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the latest data broadcasting information immediately after SEEK. <P>SOLUTION: By setting a display update interval of a display control part 18 to be later than a frequency change interval of a frequency control part, and by allowing the frequency control part 16 and the display control part 18 to be operated asynchronously, data broadcasting receiving is enabled before the display control part 18 displays a SEEK stop frequency, and the latest data broadcasting data can be received until the display is updated to the SEEK stop frequency.
