<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that controls power supply to a heater of a heat fixing device so as to control a flicker and harmonic current distortion and to reduce gloss unevenness of an image. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a pre-fixing sensor 116 that detects a conveyance position of a recording medium 101; a control part 113 that controls the electrical conduction amount to a heat fixing device 109; and a storage part that stores a plurality of heater power control tables to the heat fixing device 109. The control part 113 controls to switch an electrical conduction control table between when the recording medium 101 passes through the heat fixing device 109 and when the recording medium 101 does not pass through the heat fixing device 109 based on the detection result of the pre-fixing sensor 116. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
