PURPOSE: A scanner and a product confirming method using the same are provided to photograph an image which scans a barcode of a product. CONSTITUTION: A bar-code reader device(120) scans a barcode of a product. An image photographing device(130) takes a photograph of a product by the bar-code reader device. A communication device(110) transmits scanned bar-code information and photographed product information. A storing unit stores the photographed product information and the scanned bar-code information.
