<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen refill which achieves good writing, maintains lubricity, prevents wear of a tip body such as a ball seat and is stable in ink consumption from writing start until ink is exhausted. <P>SOLUTION: In the ball-point pen refill, a ball-point pen tip rotatably holding a ball and comprising stainless steel is mounted to a tip of an ink storage cylinder directly or via a tip holder. Oil-based ball-point pen ink which includes an acidic compound having at least an aromatic ring and in which ink viscosity at 20°C and 500 sec<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>of shearing speed is 10-5,000 mPa s is directly stored inside the ink storage cylinder. When ink consumption at a point of 0-100 m is represented as Y1 mg and ink consumption at a point of 100 m before the ink is exhausted is represented as Y2 mg, 1.20≥Y1/Y2≥0.80 is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
